Crew Leader- Maintenance Divison
Position Statement For:
Crew Leader-Maintenance Division
Reports To: Maintenance Director

Required Result: I am accountable for producing the following result:
Lead, coach, and manage a Landscape Maintenance Crew while managing landscape maintenance contracts on time and on budget, within the required parameters of the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a professional relationship with the property owners and account managers.

Is responsible for maintaining safety standards on the job site.

Coordinates with the Maintenance Director to schedule all necessary materials, equipment, etc.

Produces the desired level of maintenance within the hours budgeted.

Performs coaching, reviews, exit interviews, and initial disciplinary actions for Level I and II crew members.

Performs training and development for crew members, creating highly skilled and competent team members.

Maintains and submits all records for each job, on a daily basis, and as required by Villwock’s Outdoor Living.

Works without direct supervision, using skills and knowledge gained by experience, industry certification, or a degree, to maintain client landscapes.

Safely operates equipment, observing all safety regulations prescribed by Villwock’s Outdoor Living and the equipment operator’s manual. Trains crew members in equipment operation.

Reads, interprets, and implements Landscape Maintenance Contract requirements.

Conducts a minimum of four, Tuesday training sessions per year.

Reads and implements Villwock’s Outdoor Living Employee Handbook.

Participates in recruiting and advancing employees.

Ability to maintain Client Landscapes at the highest level of quality.

Maintains a clean, neat, and safe job site defined by Villwock’s Outdoor Living standards.

Treats Clients and employees in a polite, friendly, and respectful manner.

Promotes the Villwock’s Outdoor Living image by maintaining, safe, equipment and vehicles.

Maintains a clean, neat, and professional appearance and conduct defined by Villwock’s Outdoor Living standards.

Maintains the confidentiality of client and company information.
Required Skills and Experience
Has 1-3 years of landscape maintenance experience.
Has 1 year of leadership experience.
Has great customer service skills.
Is self-motivated.
Has a great, positive attitude.
Has a professional demeanor in dress, speech, and personal conduct.
