Floating Fleet Mechanic

Fleet Tech Floater

Location: Berrien Springs, Michigan
Job Type: Full-Time (Saturday availability required)

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Fleet Tech Floater to support our operations team. This is a hands-on, versatile role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is willing to step in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly.

Position Overview

The Fleet Tech Floater assists fleet mechanics, supports deliveries, and helps manage incoming and outgoing product. This role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist fleet mechanics with maintenance and repair tasks

• Receive and organize incoming deliveries

• Load customer bulk orders safely and efficiently

• Assist with deliveries, including routes into Indiana

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Support team members across departments as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)

• Ability to assist with deliveries, including out-of-state (Indiana)

• Mechanical aptitude; previous experience preferred

• Must have your own tools

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed

• Good communication skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials

Schedule Requirements

• Must be available to work Saturdays

• Flexible availability during peak seasons is a plus
