Delivery Driver
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job description:
Villwocks Outdoor Living, a family-owned and operated business in Michigan’s Great Southwest, is continuing to grow. We are currently seeking an energetic person with a passion for working outdoors as well as in the shop.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering outdoor power equipment, landscaping materials, and related products safely and efficiently to customers. The ideal candidate will not only take pride in reliable, on-time deliveries but also demonstrate a “willing to do what is needed” attitude — helping out where necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
● Safely load, secure, transport, and unload outdoor power equipment and landscaping materials.
● Inspect the delivery vehicle and equipment before and after each trip to ensure proper operation.
● Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including assisting customers with unloading when needed.
● Maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, and documentation.
● Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company procedures.
● Assist team members with warehouse duties, equipment checks, or customer support as needed.
● Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks in the yard area
● Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
● Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
● Experience operating delivery trucks, trailers, or similar vehicles.
● Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or materials safely.
● Strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility to take on different tasks.
● Knowledge of outdoor power equipment or landscaping products a plus.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
