BERRIEN SPRINGS- Outside Nursery Associate

Job Title: Outdoor Nursery Associate (Cold Frame Production)

Position Overview:
Villwocks Outdoor Living is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Outdoor Nursery Associate to care for and cultivate plant material within our cold frame growing structures. This role is essential to maintaining plant health, quality, and readiness for sale, and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Water, prune, fertilize, and monitor plant health within cold frame structures

• Assist with planting, transplanting, spacing, and general plant maintenance

• Open and close cold frames as needed to regulate temperature and airflow

• Identify and address plant health issues such as pests, disease, or stress

• Maintain clean, organized growing areas and assist with inventory upkeep

• Support team members with general nursery tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Interest in plants, horticulture, or outdoor work (experience is a plus, but not required)

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:
This is a fully outdoor, hands-on role based in our nursery and cold frame growing areas. Candidates should be comfortable working in varying seasonal conditions and getting dirty while doing meaningful, physical work.
